What is Individual Organisation of Studies (IOS)?

IOS involves arranging individual terms of fulfilment of student’s obligations under the curriculum of the pursued field of study and an individual plan of the academic year, including the dates of examinations and assessments.

Student’s obligations include, among others, taking part in classes and organisational activities. If a student pursues a course within the framework of repeating a course of to make up for curriculum differences and the dates of classes taught as part of this course coincide with a current schedule of classes, the student shall address the university with a request to take advantage of an Individual Organisation of Studies (IOS).

After obtaining the right to take advantage of an IOS, the student shall immediately arrange the terms of pursuing and completing a given course with the person teaching the course, including the rules of participation in classes.
