What is the TOLES Advanced exam like?

TOLES Advanced aims to check the exam-taker’s knowledge of the English language on the B2-C2 levels according to the he Common European Framework of Reference for Languages scale. The exam includes a written part only, testing the exam-taker’s knowledge of vocabulary (e.g. prepositions, collocations, legal terminology), and understating contract language. The exam is aimed at law students, practising lawyers, translators/interpreters, and all those who wish to check their knowledge of legal English. From 2022 the exam is being conducted as proctored online exam. Duration of the exam is 2 clock hours.
