- An assistance grant may be awarded to students (of both full-time and part-time studies) who have found themselves temporarily in a difficult life situation. The applying student should describe their difficult situation in sufficient detail and provide the necessary documents to prove it.
- An assistance grant may be applied for by a student who have found themselves temporarily in a difficult life situation. “Have found themselves” - meaning that something has happened, something has changed, there is a difference between the normal, usual situation and the new, difficult one. In the application, one has to provide specific details: dates, facts, events, description of the financial situation before finding oneself in a difficult life situation and after finding oneself in a difficult life situation - to show the difference.
- An assistance grant is a form of immediate, one-time help. Students may obtain an assistance grant twice in an academic year.
- The amount of the assistance grant, which is a one-off payment, is determined each time by the Grants Committee (the amount may not be lower than PLN 100.00).
