Tuition fee discounts

Current tuition fee discounts:

  • a 50% discount on the semester tuition fee for the pursuit of a second field of study until the completion of the last semester of the first field of study. If the student is removed from the list of students of the first field of study, the discount does not apply
  • a 25% discount on the semester tuition fee for the pursuit of a second and another major within the same field of study. The semester tuition fee amounts to 25% of the semester tuition fee defined for a given field of study and applies to all semesters during which the first and another major are pursued at the same time
  • a 50% discount on the semester tuition fee for the pursuit of a second and another major within the framework of a second-cycle programme in management taught in English. The semester tuition fee amounts to 50% of the semester tuition fee defined for the said of study and applies to all semesters during which the first and another major are pursued at the same time (applies only to students admitted to KU in the academic year 2020/2021).
  • a 10% discount on the semester tuition fee offered to married couples, siblings, children and parents studying at KU at the same time and offered also for the first field of study to the person who has started their studies at KU later. The discount applies to semesters in which both such persons study at the same time.
  • Except for students admitted to KU in the academic year 2018/2019 and earlier - if both of said persons commence their studies at the same time, each of these persons is offered a 5% discount on the semester tuition fee. The discount applies to semesters in which both such persons study at the same time.
  • a 100% discount on the tuition fee for the first year of studies, offered to Olympiad winners commencing their studies at KU for the first time. The condition of being granted a discount in subsequent years is to obtain a grade point average of at least 4.60 in the course of studies.
  • a 50% discount on the tuition fee for the first year of studies, offered to Olympiad finalists commencing their studies at KU for the first time. The condition of being granted a discount in subsequent years is to obtain a grade point average of at least 4.60 in the course of studies.
  • a 10% discount on the semester tuition fee for each semester of studies, offered to KU graduates of: first-cycle studies, second-cycle studies, single-cycle studies, postgraduate studies, or doctoral studies, who take up first-cycle studies in the academic year 2020/2021
  • a 15% discount on the semester tuition fee for each semester of studies – in the case of second-cycle or single-cycle studies, offered to KU graduates of: first-cycle studies, second-cycle studies, single-cycle studies, postgraduate studies, or doctoral studies
  • a 40% discount on the semester tuition fee for the first semester of studies – in the case of second-cycle studies, offered to KU graduates of first-cycle studies, who have graduated with honours (applies to students admitted to degree-level studies in the academic year 2020/2021 and in the academic year 2019/2020)
  • a 10% discount on the tuition fee for the first semester of studies – offered to children of graduates of MBA studies, second-cycle studies, or single-cycle studies completed at KU, commencing their full-time first-cycle studies at KU (the discount applies to students admitted to degree-level studies in the academic year 2020/2021).

The semester tuition fee discounts referred to above do not apply to tuition fees to be paid for programmes delivered by KU in collaboration with other entities.

The semester tuition fee discounts are not cumulative. One discount per student applies.
